Experience

Gush joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP as an associate in 2024. He first joined the team in the summer of 2022 as a second-year student at the Windsor Faculty of Law and returned for his articling term in the fall of 2023. Gush is developing a practice that aligns closely with the firm’s strength in commercial litigation, primarily focusing in the areas of class actions, shareholder disputes, competition law, and contractual and securities litigation.

At law school, Gush was active within the faculty, enrolling in various competitive mooting competitions, holding the role of president of the Environmental Law Society, and participating in two separate legal clinics that aimed to address local and global climate needs. He also served as a research assistant to the Windsor Law Centre for Cities, an organization that focuses on building inclusive, sustainable cities through the use of law and public engagement. Gush’s work was recognized by the faculty and he earned the R. Lawrence DeShield Memorial Award in Municipal Studies for his continued contributions.

Prior to law school, Gush obtained his B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto, specializing in political science and minoring in public law and policy.

Gush’s other experience includes founding and operating his own successful gym equipment procurement business. In the early stages of the pandemic when supply was difficult to come by, Gush was able to develop a clientele and assist them in outfitting their commercial and high-end home fitness spaces by leveraging international logistics and optimizing existing supply chains.

In his free time, Gush enjoys watching the Toronto Raptors, training for powerlifting, and loves trying new food spots with friends.
