Experience
Kyra joined Babin Bessner Spry LLP as an associate in 2024. She first joined the team as a summer and placement student in 2022, and after graduating from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, she returned as an associate in training upon her call to the bar in the fall of 2023.
As a member of the inaugural class at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Kyra was a Co-Founder and Co-President of the Women’s Legal Education Association and was a member of its inaugural Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council. In addition to her studies, Kyra worked as a Virtual Case Manager, facilitating virtual hearings and coordinating several international legal conferences.
Prior to law school, Kyra obtained her B.A (Hons.) from Western University, where she received an Honours Specialization in Media, Information and Technoculture. During her undergraduate degree, Kyra served as President of the Faculty of Information and Media Studies Students’ Council and was a counsellor on Western University’s Students’ Council.
Outside of law, Kyra enjoys staying active and exploring new restaurants in the city.
